Hotel Key Holder : Christmas style!

Hi everyone ~ Connie here with my first blog post for Jenni Bowlin Studio (whoop!!)  I have made a Perpetual Calendar, for the little peeps in my life,  using the Hotel Key Holder, which you can get now at a special reduced price!

The flower Rosette's are made using the Tim Holtz die.  The paper is from the JBS Christmas Collection 2011 and 2012.  I also used lots of JBS embellishments to decorate with!!!

You still have plenty of time to make this~stay inspired!!!!!

"Sew" Inspired! - Hotel Key Holder

Connie Mercer changes up her Hotel Key Holder as she wishes.  And why not?  It's very easy to alter and decorate this piece so it can be changed as desired.

Her latest project uses various needlework and sewing notions to create a lovely inspiration board.  Wouldn't this be lovely hanging near someone's sewing machine or in their studio?

Hotel Key Holder

One of the exciting new products at stores now is our solid wood Hotel Key Holder.  Did you know that Jenni designed this product from a large vintage piece in her own home?   Just beautiful!

Connie Mercer shows just how versatile this piece can be!  She purposely added embellishments that could be easily removed so she could change the look of her piece when she wished.

In this arrangement, Connie hung the Key Holder from a vintage hanger.  Her embellishments are both made from the new Wren line and favorite vintage  pieces.  The vintage "5" card?  That's for her 5 grandchildren!

Connie then created another very special arrangement:

This one contains pieces that have a lot of sentiment and memories associated with them.  For example, Connie gave the earrings displayed on the banner tag to her grandmother Mary, and the large lock belonged to her great-great grandfather who was a preacher.  Every piece is tagged and labeled with its meaning.

Connie showed us how this one beautiful piece can be altered to give different looks!  Thank you Connie - these are not only beautiful, but meaningful too!
