Photo Freedom with Leah Farquharson

Leah has created a wonderful spread using the JBS/Echo Park Photo Freedom kit.  Her spread tells a story of a particular day and I love its light and airy feel.   Do you see the racing number she tucked into a pocket? What a great idea!  Here's Leah's process in her words:

Jenni Bowlin has teamed up with Echo Park for their "photo freedom" line of goods, and I have to say, I'm loving it! I've had in my mind to start working on this type of project for a while, and just haven't pulled supplies together for it, yet. We're looking at a 4x6 photo printer to make it even easier to print out photos from our iphones and the boys' cameras as well! I'm really excited to get in to this style of scrapbooking, since it's something that I did digitally for many years, though not recently. Previously I was pulling together a "year in review" type scrapbook that I was able to print out, and then make whatever scrapbook pages that I felt like. I'd love to move into more of this type of scrapbooking to fill that spot...

JBS Photo Freedom : Doris Sander Style

I love Doris Sander's pocket pages.   What she recently created using the JBS Photo Freedom kit and other JBS embellishments is no exception.  Here is her double page spread that appears to have been created using the divided page protectors on the left and a full 12x12 page protector on the right. 

Here is a page I made with the Jenni Bowlin for Echo Park Photo Freedom Kit (page protectors included!).  I like to use color to differentiate the different events on my page.  This kit is Red and Black, but it's oh so easy to add extra color in here and there with markers and washi tape.  Great results and oh so easy!

This is the first spread I've done in my October 2012 Project Life Album.  WHAT?!!!  Yes, I did.  I've gone back in time and started on the 2012 pictures.  Craziness!  I'm excited about the prospect though and have had some interesting thoughts/breakthroughs with the whole scrapbooking/project life combination.  I'll be sharing those thoughts soon!

Photo Freedom Jenni Bowlin Studio Style!

We recently had the Echo Park and JBS design teams use the new JBS Photo Freedom collection. We were "jaw-dropping shocked" at how different each take was on the collection.  We'll be sharing many of these right here on the blog this week. Take a look!

Here's how Betsy Sammarco used her kit:

I use pocket pages to create layouts, not to follow the life-documentation system a lot of people use it for.  The pockets are a great way to begin a layout with structure defined by the pockets.  Once that it set, I have a blast embellishing. In this spread I embellished both on the 4x6 and 2x3 cards and on the top of the pockets themselves.  The beautiful JBS graphic are so easy to work with in this format!

I used the EP/JBS Photo Freedom Kit along with Jenni's new release products: rub-ons, flatbacks, and sequins. I love using sequins in Photo Freedom!
